My recent stay at Mercure Gold Hotel was quite pleasant. The location was convenient, with attractions like the Etihad Museum and La Mer beach within walking distance. The staff, especially the guy who helped me with my baggage, were friendly and helpful. The hotel also offered free transfers to Dubai Mall twice a day, which was a nice bonus.

There was one particular incident during my stay that left a negative impression. Upon arrival, I noticed an unpleasant odor in the first room I was assigned, but the hotel quickly accommodated my request for a room change.

The hotel is located close to Dubai's main attractions and The Creek. Taxis were easily accessible and the hotel also had parking facilities. The hotel facilities, including the gym and pool, were clean and well-maintained.
